The frustration I have had over the years with freezer labels falling off led me to hunt for a better solution. We have two freezers besides the one with the refrigerator and I put up a lot of our own food from the garden and fruit trees. I cannot begin to count the number of times that I've found a package that the label fell off of and although I could tell what the item was, I had no clue what the date of the item was.These labels come on a roll and are very easy to peel off and stick to plastic, foil or containers, whether it be glass or plastic. Several of the reviews I read about these labels stated that they wouldn't remove from the container very well. That simply doesn't bother me if that is true as I will just place another of these labels on top of the old one. I use the same containers year after year in my freezers so a build up of labels won't be a problem. More sticking power the better! I write with a permanent marker which the labels take quite well and there is no bleeding or fading even when wet.
